Cassie & Co. was a Syndication network crime drama series, starring Angie Dickinson in the lead role.
The show premiered on January 29, 1982 as a mid-season replacement, but was pulled off the air in February after 4 episodes aired. The remaining episodes aired from June 15 to August 20, 1982, ending after 13 episodes.
Plot[]
The show centered on Cassie Holland (Angie Dickinson) a tough, hard-nosed police cop who becomes a private detective, taking over Lyman "Shack" Shackleford's detective agency.
With the assistance of her ex-con secretary Meryl Foxx (Dori Brenner) and her gym instructor Benny Silva (A Martinez), she begins working all manner of cases and is also more than willing to trade in on her looks, her cop buddies and even her ex, Mike Holland (who works in the district attorney's office) to get the job done.
