Earth 2 was a NBC network science-fiction TV series created by Michael Duggan, Carol Flint, Mark Levin and Billy Ray.
The show premiered on November 6, 1994 with a two-hour pilot episode (which would was split into two parts when aired in syndication). The series premiere was successful, peaking at #8 in the Nielsen ratings.
The cast members consisted of Debrah Farentino, Clancy Brown, J. Madison Wright, Joey Zimmerman, Sullivan Walker, Jessica Steen, Rebecca Gayheart, Antonio Sabato, Jr. and John Gegenhuber.
Although the show had been nominated for various awards (such as a Primetime Emmy), the ratings began dropping and on May 28, 1995, "Earth 2" was cancelled after one season and 22 episodes.
